Vehicle Details

This page contains the major parameters that have been either calculated or estimated, or otherwise. As the design matures, these numbers will converge on their final values. The current Master Design Document (.doc) is available for scrutinization here (although it's not far along yet). All design will be done using metric units (MKS), however we've displayed the english equivalents for you die-hard veterans. We've also started work on a 6-DOF simulator written in Matlab to help us simulate the flight characteristics of the rocket.

*Note: These parameters are fairly old and rough, and the team effort is focused on getting a hybrid engine to operate reliably. When the engine is characterized satisfactorily, these numbers will be re-crunched for those values.
